Since I can remember I have always had a passion for travel, I think it was my first family holiday to Mallorca in the 70s that started it all. I have strong memories of lovely holidays with my parents and this is something I strive to emulate for my two children, Sophie 11 and Liam 7 years old.

I love the beach and laying in the sun, so the laid back way of life in the Caribbean has strong appeal to me, the busy mum! The relaxation that comes with a Caribbean break is absolutely perfect and is something we will always enjoy as a family. Last October's holiday to St Lucia was a real hit with my kids, they learnt so much about the rainforests and had such a good time this is often the topic of conversation in our house.

Antigua

I loved laid back chilled out holidays with my family, laying the sun and building the odd sandcastle; I am still a child at heart so Antigua and it’s charming people has to be a favourite destination of mine. I very much enjoyed early morning strolls on the beach at Carlisle Bay and the trip to Shirley Heights on Sunday night was great fun because I also have a passion for live music.

Jumby Bay Island

My favourite has to be the Estate House at Jumby Bay. Roasted butternut ravioli with truffle butter, sautéed shrimp with local farm fresh vegetables, and seafood risotto with asparagus, a perfectly delicious meal topped off with the most amazing Espresso Martini.
