I joined Elegant Resorts in 1997 and would describe this as my dream job! Having worked in a number of sales departments over the years I have been lucky enough to visit some fabulous destinations across the globe and work alongside some wonderful people.

I think anyone who works in the travel industry must have a passion for travelling and it's definitely one of mine - I just love learning about different cultures and lifestyles! Being a bit of a 'foodie', sampling new cuisines from around the world is a dream come true!

The Lodge, Verbier

I was invited to spend a few nights at Sir Richard Branson's weekend retreat in Switzerland which was very special. I was also amazed at how much Verbier had to offer in the summer - from mountain biking to paragliding. And I'm now holding out for an invitation in the winter!

"My main advice would be to pack light to avoid additional baggage charges, however this is something I still have to master myself!"

"It's fabulous to eat in some of the best dining venues in the world but allow some time to also explore some of the more 'local' restaurants as it's a great way to gain an even better understanding of the local cuisine."
