    DAY 1-2 DETAILS ACCOMMODATION

    Fly to Tanzania and unwind at Arumeru River Lodge, the ideal location from which to start your safari adventure. Enjoy your first wildlife encounter in the lodge’s lush gardens which are home to Dikdiks, the smallest antelopes in Africa.

    TRANSFERS

    Take a private transfer to Arusha Airport for your flight to Kuro Airstrip. From here, take a private transfer to Oliver’s, Tarangire National Park.

    DAY 2-4 DETAILS ACCOMMODATION

    Head out on game drives and walking safaris in Tarangire National Park, featuring the largest concentration of wildlife in Tanzania. Spot giraffe, buffalo, elephant, gazelle and of course, the ever-present predators, before dinner and drinks around the camp fire.

    Take a private car transfer to Kuro Airstrip for your flight to Manyara Airstrip. From here, head to Lake Manyara National Park, then onto The Highlands, Ngorongoro Conservation Area.

    DAY 4-6 DETAILS ACCOMMODATION

    From The Highlands camp, follow ancient Masai trails to the summit of the Ngorongoro crater and visit local communities to catch a glimpse into the traditional Masai way of life that has defined this corner of East Africa for centuries. Search for the resident black rhino, along with the rest of the ‘Big Five’ in the crater – lion, leopard, elephant and buffalo – before returning to your luxury camp each evening to relax by the indoor camp fire in the lounge dome.

Its vast plains sprinkled with acacia trees have been the setting for many wildlife documentaries and its famous attraction is the annual Great Migration of wildebeest and zebra. Outside of the migration, there is still plenty of wildlife action – keep an eye out for large prides of lion, as well as giraffe, cheetah and hyena, whilst bird lovers will have some 500 species to cross off their checklists!

BEST TIME TO TRAVEL
