For their first venture into Vietnam, Aman have selected a breathtakingly, exquisite site. Amano’i is situated on a mountainous promontory of the Nui Chua National Park, overlooking Vinh Hy Bay. The feeling of being far, far away, like the panoramic views of the sea and coastline, is ever present. Individual guest pavilions and villas are strategically placed, ensuring plenty of privacy; typically Aman they exude contemporary restraint, all clean lines, sanded wood and dark marble with an open-plan living and sleeping area, floor-to-ceiling windows and outdoor sundecks complete with sun-loungers (some with plunge pools large enough to swim in). The Central Pavilion houses the Main Lodge restaurant, there’s an expansive terrace and cliff-top pool – another one can be found at the Beach Club – whilst the Aman spa is set apart by its own tranquil lake.
