Aman's Dream Villas

Aman resorts and hotels are synonymous with sophistication, superior service and sublime settings.

Attracting an A-list following, discreet and discerning, Aman are the experts in the exceptional - it's time to discover the untold secret of their villas.
Whilst Aman's ultra-luxurious rooms and suites more than deliver on style and space, there's nothing quite like the indulgence of a private villa. Of course, at Aman a villa is much more than a sprawling private estate; an Aman villa is an invitation to experience the pinnacle of luxury living. The difficulty is deciding where to begin. To assist, we have selected a collection of villas for each unique occasion. Find your dream home away from home with Aman.

Amanoi Spa Houses For A Wellness Immersion

Aman Resorts do things authentically. So, when Aman announced their wellness immersions in 2016, we waited with bated breath to see what unique, culturally-led wellness experiences the luxury brand would deliver. Then, Amanoi introduced two Spa Houses last summer, the first of their kind in Asia.
Setting a new standard in sumptuous spa experiences, the meditative dwellings are sublimely set within Núi Chúa National Park in Vietnam. Each Spa House has its own personal style; the aptly named Thuy Lien Spa House overlooks a lotus-covered lake, whereas the An Son Spa House offers complete seclusion with views over the lush Vietnamese hills.
A truly immersive private spa escape for two to four people, the Spa Houses offer you your own fully-equipped sanctuary for the senses, with three hours of daily spa treatments guided by your personal spa therapist - an idyllic couples retreat or getaway with friends.

Situated within a 45-minute drive from the foothills of the High Atlas Mountains, and on the outskirts of Marrakech, there are certainly enough activities for your family to explore. Visit the UNESCO World Heritage Medina, with its captivating lanes, fondouks, hammams and souks, or head out to the High Atlas Mountains to discover ancient mosques, kasbahs and cliffside Berber villages, where you can stop for a picnic in the foothills.

Amanzoe For A Cultural Journey

Amanzoe translates to 'peaceful life' which is emulated within the beautiful 1-bedroom Villa at Amanzoe. What comes as an exceptional added bonus is the immersive art instillation entitled 'Sky Plain' by world-renowned artist James Turrel. Taking the form of a cubic structure, also known as a Skyspace, its large ceiling aperture is open to the awe-inspiring Peloponnese sky above. If that wasn't enough, the villa comprises of a beautifully appointed master bedroom, 22-metre private pool, kitchen, shaded terraces and living room. For the cherry on the cake, the villa also boasts extraordinary views of the Aegean Sea and surrounding countryside.

"Without light, there is no life. Amanzoe means 'peaceful life' and I hope those who experience this work will feel a peaceful sense of the power of the light."

With an abode fit for the gods of Mount Olympus themselves, you will probably be inspired by this beautiful setting to explore the fascinating remains of ancient Greece. Woven with tales of heroes, explorers and tricksters, this landscape is full of intrigue. With Amanzoe's tailored itineraries, you can take a guided tour of the UNESCO World Heritage archaeological sites, including the Sanctuary of Asclepius, which was one of the renowned healing centres in the ancient world, and Mycenae, which was known as the 'golden city' of ancient Greece.
You can also discover the town of Nafplio, which hosted the first Greek parliament after the Greek War of Independence and was the spot that first governor of Greece, Ioannis Kapodistrias, was murdered. Today, you can explore the ancient castles and museums to be immersed in the history and culture the old town is founded on.
To get active, there are hiking routes through old villages, passing tucked-away churches, rocky gorges, creeks and water springs, while wine-lovers can explore the vineyards of Nemea, where the most important red wine in southern Greece is cultivated.
There is plenty for food-lovers to discover. In ancient Greece, bees were believed to be a sacred insect that bridged the natural world with the underworld, making honey very valuable, In the valley below Amanzoe, you can visit the fields of beehives and, if you book in advance, join the family who owns it in harvesting your own nectar. In the morning, you can also visit a traditional Greek farm for a farm house breakfast or visit a local market before heading back to the restaurant to learn how to prepare a traditional Greek feast.

At just three months old I began a lifelong love affair with travel. Since that first holiday to Barbados, I've since visited over 50 countries. My favourite travel memories are an incredible safari in Botswana and sipping Champagne at the top of the Eiffel Tower.
