Sani Club has four restaurants that, between them, serve Mediterranean, Greek and International dishes. Each one is part of Sani Resort's 'Dine Around' programme, allowing Sani Resort guests, staying on a half or full board basis, to dine on special set menus or a la carte (at an additional charge) at no fewer than twenty-six restaurants across the resort, for lunch and/or dinner. In addition to the three styles of cuisine served at Sani Club, there are opportunities to dine on similar cuisine at some of the other locations at the resort, along with Italian and gourmet options. Guests can also now enjoy Japanese cuisine at Katsu restaurant and the vibrant flavours of the Orient within the new Asian restaurant. In addition, there are not-to-be-missed dining experiences at Fresco, located at Sani Dunes, dine inside or al fresco whilst enjoying magnificent views of the breathtaking lagoon pool; the perfect backdrop for the menus of Michelin-starred chef Ettore Botrini. Meanwhile, Tomata, located at Sani Marina, features a fine wine list and a signature gourmet dining experience.

While at Sani Club, do enjoy a relaxing drink at any one of the three bars and lounges. Choose from light bites and refreshing drinks throughout the day at the Pool Bar; drink in spectacular views of the bay while chilling out at the Lounge Bar or head to the terrace of Dunes Bar to enjoy the laid-back vibe, gentle sea breezes, a creative drinks menu and live musical performances on most evenings.

History & Culture

Halkidiki's top cultural attraction is Mount Athos, a semi-independent monastic state and listed UNESCO World Heritage Site. Also known as the ‘Holy Mountain’, it is home to some 1,700 monks dwelling in ornate Orthodox monasteries. Proclaimed the exclusive domain of monks and hermits by the Byzantine Emperor, only male visitors are welcome – you can, however, sail around its perimeter from Ouranoupolos. There are also important archaeological sites to spot, such as the ruined 7th-century city of Olynthos and, further afield (180km north), the site of Vergina - featuring the Royal Tombs of King Philippos II, father of Alexander the Great, plus a museum dedicated to the area.

One of the most important founding figures in western philosophy, the park displays several experimental instruments - including a giant compass, telescope, prism and sun clock- that reveal the phenomena of nature, based on Aristotle’s work, The Natural. A fun, interactive outing for all the family.

Another treasure in Halkidiki is the Petralona Cave, showcasing almost two kilometres of corridors decorated with impressive stalagmites and stalactites, as well as the fossilised skull and bones of the Archanthrope of Petralona. Excavations carried out in recent years have brought to light many Paleolithic tools and fascinating fossilised animals.
