I've been in travel for over 25 years and have thoroughly enjoyed myself along the way! I joined Elegant Resorts in 1998 and have been fortunate enough to have explored most of Europe over the course of the years.

I've been at Elegant Resorts now for over 20 years and have loved every minute! Along with work trips, I treasure my personal holidays and I have been extremely lucky and travelled extensively since childhood. My son has also caught the travel bug and he now likes to decide where we're off to next!

I have been to some wonderful places over the years but my favourite destination has to be Italy, from the pretty little villages, the stunning coastline of the Amalfi Coast and the hustle and bustle of the cities. I have never been disappointed wherever I have been, plus you really can't beat Italian food and wine!!

Six Senses Douro Valley

Along with admiring the stunning scenery, 19th-century manor house, organic gardens and visiting the surrounding vineyards, I was fortunate enough to take part in a Six Senses' Integrated Wellness Programme. The spa pampering, combined with innovative physiological biomarker measurements and Aerial Yoga was both relaxing and invigorating!

"After years of travel I have now learnt to always take a change of clothes in my hand luggage. From sitting in chocolate on an aeroplane seat, to my luggage going missing for three days. With a spare bikini and a change of clothes in your bag, you are prepared for anything!"

What my Personal Assistant Victoria says...

" It only seems like yesterday when I started work at Elegant Resorts at the young age of 20 and nearly 10 years on I'm still loving every minute. After all, it's is not every day that you get to swap your office desk to travel to Dubai or Mauritius to sample the world's top hotel's, the finest food and wine and the most relaxing spa treatments in exotic locations. It's very hard to pick a favourite hotel but Conrad Maldives Rangali Island where I spent part of my honeymoon holds a special place in my heart. The staff were wonderful and my husband and I felt like we had landed in paradise, needless to say we had the perfect honeymoon. Fast forward a few years and with 3 young children I now see holiday's from a different perspective and I particularly enjoy assisting family trips, although being a big romantic I also enjoy booking surprise trips, honeymoon's and celebratory breaks.
