ELEGANT TRAVELLER
Amanpulo Blogs
On Pamalican, the private 220-acre island where Amanpulo is located, Aman Resorts has fashioned a small escapist hideaway. Boasting one of the finest white-sand beaches in the world, the island is just one-and-a-half miles long and five-hundred metres wide. Amanpulo’s freestanding, and very spacious, guest casitas are modelled on a traditional Filipino bahay kubo house, with wood shingled roofs and private decked terraces. Interiors are warm and inviting, simple yet luxurious. Linked by quiet lanes and walkways to the beach and amenities, each casita has a motorised golf buggy for guests’ private use during their stay.
The focal point of the resort is the Clubhouse, which is home to the air-conditioned main restaurant and its terrace, along with a bar, library and boutique, while there is also a Beach Club and Lagoon Club, which both offer alternative venues for dining and chilling out throughout the day and into the evening. Other facilities include a large swimming pool, four floodlit tennis courts, a spa, PADI-accredited dive centre and a range of complimentary non-motorised water sports available at the Sea Sports Hut. Sea fishing and scuba-diving are available at an additional charge, while complimentary guided island walks and cycling are other options for guests to enjoy. Amanpulo is suitable for couples and families, alike.
