On the private 220-acre island, Pamalican, Aman Resorts have fashioned a small escapist hideaway. Boasting one of the finest white-sand beaches in the world, the island is just one-and-a-half miles long and five-hundred metres wide. Amanpulo’s freestanding, and very spacious, casitas are modelled on a traditional Filipino bahay kubo house, with wood shingled roofs and a private wooden terrace. Interiors are warm and inviting, simple yet luxurious. Linked by quiet lanes and walkways to the beach and amenities, each casita has a motorised golf cart for guests’ private use during their stay. The focal point of the Clubhouse’s main building is the air-conditioned restaurant and its terrace and there’s also a bar, library and boutique. Other facilities include a large swimming pool and a range of complimentary non-motorised water sports. Sea fishing and scuba-diving are available at an additional charge. Complimentary guided island walks, tennis and cycling are other options for releasing energy. Amanpulo is suitable for couples and families, alike.
