ITINERARY EXCURSIONS

Zion National Park Canyoneering
Half Day Excursion

This morning, your driver-guide will arrive at your hotel and take you out to remarkable areas that surround Zion National Park's backcountry for an off-the-grid day of canyoneering! You will gear up and take a short hike to the mouth of a canyon, where you will squeeze through narrow passageways to arrive at a cave. Your hike to this point will put you face-to-face with interesting geology and natural formations, far away from the millions of tourists who visit this incredible national park. At the mouth of the canyon, your guide will show you the proper technique for descending into the wide-open canyon. Once the rig has been assembled, you will lower into the canyon as if in an action movie! Once safely on the floor, you will be untied from the line and given time to explore, before hiking out of the cave and continuing on to the next captivating cave.

Zion National Park Hiking Adventure
Full Day Excursion

This wet-foot hike puts you right at ground zero to appreciate the twisting labyrinth and misshapen formations of Zion Canyon, caused by the unrelenting elements of nature. Early this morning, your driver/guide will pick you up at your hotel and take you to get fitted for your technical gear (including trekking poles, water shoes and socks). Next, you will depart to the trailhead to begin this epic adventure! In addition to ensuring a safe passage through this famed section of canyon, your guide will detail the geological history and human use of Zion, allowing you plenty of opportunities for photographs and moments of reflection that the scenery inspires. Please be advised that water levels in the river fluctuate dependent on the season, and require participants to be comfortable wading in chest-high water at times.

Arches and Canyonlands National Parks

Join a private guide/driver to first experience the iconic landforms and scenery of the Canyonlands National Park – from the Island in the Sky mesa (or hill) and the river-view Shafer Trail. Then, sit back and prepare to be dazzled as your guide navigates the incredible red rock wonderland and striking sandstone formations of Arches National Park. Follow your guide to far reaches of the park, enjoying the raw beauty of its monuments – including Devil’s Garden arch.
