Day 1 to 3 Accommodation

Day 3 to 5 Accommodation

Day 5 to 7 Accommodation

Day 7 to 9 Accommodation

Nicknamed ‘Little Marrakech’, Taroudant is a compact but bustling city backed by the High Atlas Mountains. From here, head along La Route Miel (The Honey Road), passing by countless argan, olive and almond trees, as well as wild lavender buzzing with honeybees, stopping to taste some delicious local honey. Explore the hillside village of Taliouine, the producer of more saffron (the world’s most expensive spice) than anywhere else in Africa! Visit the saffron cooperative here, set up so that the members can enjoy improved income and living conditions from producing saffron and olive oil.

Day 9 to 11 Accommodation

Essaouira, Morocco

Your final stop is the characterful coastal city of Essaouira, home to a UNESCO World Heritage walled medina and a selection of fantastic galleries, showcasing work from both Moroccan and international artists. You can also head out into the nearby Val d’Argan vineyards, stopping for a gastronomic tasting menu made with quality local products, accompanied by fabulous local wines. On the way back to the city, visit a women’s cooperative, where the all-female members are empowered and supported economically through creating argan oil, a product endemic to Morocco. On your final day, enjoy time at your leisure before your return flight to the UK.
