    DAY 1-5 DETAILS ACCOMMODATION

    From your base in Ubud, visit Pura Samuan Tiga Temple, where you'll witness an exclusive Kecak fire dance performed by pyromaniacal dancers. Then, enjoy a special dinner at The Chedi Club, accompanied by a presentation from Dr. Lawrence Blair, a famous explorer, author and public speaker on the people and creatures of Indonesia. Sample ‘Babi Guling’, a traditional spit-roasted pig, before visiting a multitude of temples, concluding with Pura Pegulingan, the biggest Buddhist monument in Bali! At the inland village of Subak Guiliang, witness the rural life of the Balinese people, enjoying lunch amid a scenic rice field. Explore the time-honoured village of Penglupuran, before ending your tour with views of the active Mount Batur volcano.

    After boarding Tiger Blue, a traditional phinisi yacht, sail to Sabayor Kecil. Dive or snorkel around the coral reef – full of colourful fish and the odd stingray – or take to the waves with kayaking, waterskiing or knee boarding. Of course, the national park is named after the famed Komodo dragon, and the island of Rinca is home to around 2,500 of these giant lizards, as well as monkeys, Sunda deer and wild pigs. Join a park ranger as you spot the species, before heading to Manta Point, a feeding ground for manta rays. More dreamy diving awaits at Batu Balong, which is often visited by reef and white tip sharks.

Kecak Dance Performance and Dinner with Dr. Lawrence Blair
Half Day Tour

Your afternoon will begin with a unique Kecak Fire Dance perforamce at Pura Samuan Tiga Temple, where approximately 80 pyromaniacal dancers will showcase their art exclusively for you. Following this, make the short journey to The Chedi Club, where you'll relish a special dinner accompanied by a presentation and lecture of Dr. Lawrence Blair, a famous explorer, film maker, author and public speaker.

Local Delicacies and the Birthplace of Balinese Culture
Half Day Tour

This journey into Balinese culture will firstly take you to the house of Bapak Enong Ismail, curator of the Sukarno Museum and the leading expert on the recently world heritage listed Pakerisan river area and its ancient temples and monuments. Here, you will not only learn about his many findings, but also watch the process and preparation of 'Babi Guling' (suckling pig) with the option of participating and assisting your local hosts for a hands-on experience. While the pig continues to roast, you'll have the opportunity to explore three heritage temples - Pura Guman, Pura Mengening and Pura Pegulingan - and their many historical attributes. Return to the house and savour the taste of the roasted pig with traditional side dishes, as you chat to your local hosts who will be happy to share more about their life in Bali.

Traditional Bali and Natural Wonder
Full Day Tour

Spend your day meeting, interacting and learning from local Balinese people as you immerse yourself in everyday Balinese life. Your first stop is Subak Guliang, a traditional farming village, where you'll firstly enjoy a locally prepared breakfast of tropical fruits, tea and coffee. You'll have time to stroll through local farms and witness the rural life of the Balinese people or learn more about the complexities of rice growing - from planting and harvesting through to the best methods of cooking it. Lunch will be served in the serenity of the rice fields, before you visit 11th century temple complex Pura Kehen, believed to be guarded by a mythical dragon. Proceed to Penglipuran, a village surrounded by plantations and bamboo forest where you'll meet the local community and learn more about the traditions and time-honoured ways they still adhere to.

Tiger Blue: Cruising in Komodo National Park
Four-night cruise

Step aboard Tiger Blue for four nights of cruising the Indonesian coast. Your first day will take you to Sabayor Kecil, where you'll have the opportunity to dive or snokel in the coral reef, while the following day will take you to Rinca in the early morning, where you may spot the famous Komodo Dragon! There will be plenty of time to hike across the island or relax on one of the beaches before returning to the boat for the evening. Your remaining days will be spent exploring the highlights of Komodo National Park, with the wealth of wildlife resding here including turtles, manta rays and a colourful array of fish.

After savouring your final breakfast onboard, you'll disembark Tiger Blue in Labuan Bajo, Flores to continue your journey.

Canggu Street Food Cooking Class
Half Day Tour

Take an early morning transfer to Tabnan Regency to meet your local food expert, the chef of one of Bali’s best and most authentic group of restaurants. Following coffee and a brief introduction at a traditional Balinese House, you'll visit the Balinese family temple and learn about the tradition of 'Canang Sari', the typical daily offerings made by the Balinese Hindus. Next, hop onto your mountain bike and cycle through the rice terraces and rivers to the Mengwi morning market, where your chef will guide you through the many spices, fruits and vegetables. You'll then savour a traditional Balinese breakfast, before continuing by car to the chef’s private pool villa in Canggu for your street food cooking experience. You'll learn how Balinese Chicken Betutu is made, before trying five traditional recipes from Bali for yourself! Once you've cooked up a storm, sit down to sample your creations together.

Spirit of Belimbing
Half Day Tour

Following a scenic journey along country roads to the Tabanan area in the remote region of Belimbing, fuel up with a refreshing tea or coffee before you set off on your seven-kilometre trek through coffee and chocolate plantations. As you walk, your guide will identify fruits and vegetables and explain how local people grow and harvest their crops. End your route at the secluded Benben Waterfall, where you can take a dip if you wish! You'll then return to your starting point by car for lunch, while in the late afternoon, you will sport suitable Balinese national dress and visit one of Belimbing’s ancient Hindu temples located in the jungle. Meet the residing monkeys and a priest, who will enact a Hindu offering-to-the-gods ceremony.

Tanah Lot Temple and Dinner at Tugu Hotel
Half Day Tour

One of seven sea temples that are said to form a 'chain' around the island, Tanah Lot is an integreal part of Balinese mythology. Only accessible at low tide due to its offshore location, you will arrive in time to explore as you desire with plenty of photographic opportunities. Following your temple exploration, head to the Tugu Hotel to experience Grand Ceremonial Dining of Majapahit Kingdom. In Tugu’s Royal Tugudom dining, a parade of staff will appear in the costumes of the villagers, soldiers and dancers who would attend to the King and his entourage, serving you in the way they might a Royal guest - prepare to be taken back to a glorious time of feasting and merriment!
