Start your journey in Washington D.C., one of the most powerful capital cities in the world. Take a private car transfer from Washington Dulles Airport to Fairmont Washington, D.C., Georgetown and spend three days staying in the city’s fashionable West End, an ideal base from which to explore. Wonder at the magnificence of the White House, the US Capitol Building and the Supreme Court before visiting world-famous monuments including the Washington Memorial, the Battle of Iwo Jima Memorial and the Smithsonian Institute.
Travel by business class train to New York’s Penn Station and take a transfer to The Carlyle, A Rosewood Hotel. Whether it’s your first visit or your hundredth, there’s always so much to do in ‘the city that never sleeps’. Wander to well-known attractions such as Central Park, the Statue of Liberty, Wall Street and Times Square or shop ‘til you drop in the Upper East Side’s designer boutiques by day and discover the city’s vibrant nightlife and renowned culinary scene by night.
Board the train from New York to travel along the coast to Westerly in Rhode Island. Check in to your hotel for the next four nights, Ocean House at Watch Hill, an elegant oceanfront property with sweeping sea views.
