On day 4 you will travel by domestic flight from Vancouver to Bella Coola from which it is then 40 minutes by road to reach Tweedsmuir Park Lodge. Located on the banks of the Atnarko River and part of the Great Bear Rainforest, the lodge offers its guests a unique opportunity to see grizzly bears in the wild. Using Grizzly Bear River Drifts, visitors can silently float down the curves of the river with their guide, allowing unobtrusive observation of these amazing creatures from a safe distance. Grizzly bear ecology walks in native bear habitat amaze and inform as experienced and knowledgeable local guides with a passion and love for this special part of Canada lead the way. With just 10 chalets in the lodge, the property offers an intimate feel, plus there's plenty of opportunity to connect with like-minded visitors over delicious food and enthusiastic bear-inspired conversation. Touring is available on a private and small group basis and packages are a minimum of 4 days/3 nights.

On day 7 you will travel back to Vancouver via road and domestic flight. After a night at the relaxing Fairmont Waterfront, spend your final full day sampling some of the delights on offer in Vancouver at your leisure or enjoying some of the sights you missed the first time! Head across to North Vancouver, home to beautiful mountain ranges, picturesque provincial parks and superb sandy beaches, where you will be able to explore the impressive Capilano Suspension Bridge Park, visit the Lonsdale Quay Market, hike up Grouse Mountain, or spend time browsing in Gastown,the city’s oldest neighbourhood, home to an eclectic mix of shops, boutiques, and galleries.
