Lift passes for certain resorts can be booked by us prior to travel, but can also be purchased upon arrival. We strongly recommend securing ski or snowboard tuition (if required) before you travel, whether individual or group lessons are needed. To make the most of the ski school experience, it is essential that pupils are of the same ability-level – otherwise, separate instructors will be required. Please let your Travel Consultant know you wish to have lessons when you make your holiday booking, as they would be pleased to advise you.

Ski

The hotel offers ski-in, ski-out convenience while the other Aspen-area ski mountains can be reached by efficient public transport. Aspen, considered one of the most affluent ski destinations in the world, has always had an illustrious reputation; starting out as a silver-mining town, the town grew strong and wealthy off the metal. That is, until gold came along. Aspen suffered for a short time until it discovered its finest asset to date soft, white snow...and lots of it. Aspen boasts 184 kilometres of piste including eight snowboard parks and 42 ski lifts. There are 23 black runs, 26 red and 27 blue. In fact, Aspen is made up of four mountains, all of which are challenging for the well-practised skier, except for Buttermilk which is better for beginners and those new to the scene.
