Lift passes for certain resorts can be booked by us prior to travel, but can also be purchased upon arrival. We strongly recommend securing ski or snowboard tuition (if required) before you travel, whether individual or group lessons are needed. To make the most of the ski school experience, it is essential that pupils are of the same ability-level – otherwise, separate instructors will be required. Please let your Travel Consultant know you wish to have lessons when you make your holiday booking, as they would be pleased to advise you.

Almost all of the guest rooms and one, two or three-bedroom suites offer private balconies and panoramic views – with fireplaces, flat-screen televisions, and bathtubs with a view providing the luxurious finishing touches. Ski

This cosmopolitan family resort lies just twenty minutes from Vail in a peaceful off-road setting, with doorstep skiing from all the main hotels. It's the perfect choice for those who enjoy a sophisticated environment on and off the slopes. The joint Vail/Beaver Creek Ski and Snowboard School is one of the world's largest and its reputation is excellent, especially with children. There's also a non-ski kindergarten for children aged two months and over. The nearby hamlets of Bachelor Gulch and Arrowhead are linked by piste and are only a few minutes by road from Beaver Creek Village, though they should not be considered as separate destination resorts in their own right. Other activities available include mountain-top cross-country trails, mine tours, ice-skating, dog-sledding, hot-air ballooning, ice-climbing and snow-shoeing.
