Luxury Holidays At Singita Sasakwa Lodge

This lodge is the flagship property of Singita Grumeti. Built in the style of an Edwardian manor house – complete with deep verandas, high ceilings, stately furniture and silverware – it is magnificently set on a plateau offering panoramic views of the plains. The lodge sits within 350,000 acres of largely untouched wilderness in the Serengeti National Park, meaning the entire vicinity feels wonderfully private and there are just nine spacious cottages and a private four-bedroom retreat. Each features elegant European Colonial and ethnic African design, a lounge with a fireplace, an en suite bathroom with a bath and a shower, a veranda, secluded gardens and a private infinity-edge plunge pool. In between the twice-daily game-drives there are excellent facilities to enjoy including a spa, swimming pool, gym and boutique.

Safari At Singita Sasakwa Lodge

The Serengeti is a remarkable wildlife sanctuary, famous for the annual migration of zebra, wildebeest and other grass grazers who travel in colossal numbers in search of fresh food. Routes and months of movement vary with weather patterns, but it's an epic sight to see so be sure to book early. Other key species here include lion, elephant, cheetah, leopard, buffalo, giraffe and bat-eared fox, as well as countless birds. Adventure-filled game-drives bring sun-kissed plains by day and exclusive nocturnal sightings at night. Alternatively, learn how to track creatures on foot on a guided walking safari.
