Suites are spread along the curve of the escarpment, giving each one the perfect position from which to take in the sweeping desert views through the floor-to-ceiling windows that are so key to their modern design. Spacious interiors exude luxury and sophistication and feature plush beds, sitting areas with fireplace, and a deluxe en suite bathroom, whilst outside a private veranda with comfortable seating, a dining space and firepit ensure there's is no shortage of places to relax, and a refreshing plunge pool is a tempting escape from the desert climate. The Star Dune Suite consists of two one-bedroom suites connected by covered walkways to an exquisite communal lounge and dining space, and is ideal for families or groups of friends. Suites are air-conditioned and come with a personal coffee station, mini-bar, Bose music player, telephone, internet access and in-room safe, as well as a complimentary pair of binoculars to use throughout your stay.

The impressive main pavilion with its unique modern architecture is home to a communal dining area, and with vast glass panels that fold away to reveal the mesmerising desert views, it's hard to imagine a more breathtaking backdrop to your meal. A walk-in wine cellar in the same building offers a selection of fine wines, and staff will be happy to suggest pairings for your food, and a chic bar built from giant slabs of locally-sourced granite promises to entice you with carefully-crafted cocktails and local craft beer, not to mention the spectacular views that are ever-present throughout the lodge. Private dining experiences can be arranged - enjoying sumptuous cuisine under the star-speckled desert sky with the vast, untouched desert scenery all around will certainly be an experience to remember.
