Lift passes for certain resorts can be booked by us prior to travel, but can also be purchased upon arrival. We strongly recommend securing ski or snowboard tuition (if required) before you travel, whether individual or group lessons are needed. To make the most of the ski school experience, it is essential that pupils are of the same ability-level – otherwise, separate instructors will be required. Please let your Travel Consultant know you wish to have lessons when you make your holiday booking, as they would be pleased to advise you.

Luxury Holidays At Hotel Hermitage

Owned by the Neyroz family since its opening, the wonderfully warm and welcoming Hotel Hermitage can be found tucked among the trees in a quiet area of Breuil Cervinia, nestled at the foot of the Cervino-Matterhorn, making for superb skiing on around 350-kilometres of slopes. Featuring a traditional Alpine exterior of granite and carved timber, its plush interiors are beautifully spacious, complete with bedroom fireplaces, Valle d’Aosta antiques and rich rugs adorning the 17th century parquet floors - and all with breathtaking mountain views. As a member of Relais & Châteaux, luxury is guaranteed; from indulgent treatments in the spa, to outstanding wine-tastings, it is dedicated to the 'Dolce Vita'. Perfect for refuelling after a day on the slopes, exceptional cuisine awaits at La Chandelle, the fine dining restaurant. As well as the sensational winter season between December and April, the hotel opens in July and August, during which time activities include golf, trekking, rock climbing and even skiing on the Glacier in Plateau Rosa!

Ski

Cervinia's high altitude makes it one of the most snow-sure resorts in Europe and it is the perfect choice for beginners and intermediates. Dominated by Il Cervino (Matterhorn), Cervinia nestles on the edge of a sunny and mainly gentle ski area, with a direct link to more challenging terrain on the Swiss side of the mountain. The hotel will organise lift passes and ski hire, while 4x4 vehicles ensure speedy drop-off and pick-up, as required.

There's a choice of three ski and snowboard schools - Cervino, Breuil and Cervinia. Children are able to join group ski lessons from four years-old (if they can ski) and from five years-old (if they are beginners). There are also two kindergartens - one ski, the other non-ski. Snowshoeing, ice-climbing, indoor tennis, night-skiing, parapente, skating, snowmobiling, heli-skiing and hang-gliding are also on offer. Nightlife is friendly and there is a good choice of places to eat and drink.

The beautiful La Chandelle Restaurant serves a stunning, exciting and seasonal menu of gourmet cuisine. Focus here is on locally-sourced ingredients from the hotel’s garden and nearby farms, while all bread is homemade onsite. Expect exquisite dishes and genuine hospitality, joined by a choice of over 1,000 labels from the wine cellar!

Combining traditional treatments with innovative therapies, the stunning spa from renowned Swiss brand, Bellefontaine maintains the charming Alpine style, featuring plenty of grey Val d'Aosta stone and wood throughout the treatment rooms, hammam, sauna, indoor swimming pool and hydro-massage tub, supplied with water from the source of Cervinia. Disabled Services

There are two Suite Premium Rooms available that are accessible. They feature wider, accessible doors and specially adapted bathrooms. These rooms are on the first floor and all floors of the hotel are wheelchair accessible via the elevator. The only area inaccessible is the pool area.
