Luxury Holidays On Board Les Bateaux Belmond

Travelling by luxury barge is about enjoying a gentler pace of life; one that’s altogether slower and more pastoral. It’s about dining on gourmet dinners in the evening before settling down to sleep to the comforting sound of the lapping waters, waking up to a beautiful morning with the only taxing thought being whether to leave the barge for a stroll along a leafy towpath, or to jump on a bike and head to the market. Les Bateaux Belmond's fleet comprises seven finely crafted vessels, each one boasting spacious cabins, en suite bathrooms and state-of-the-art technology. A high ratio of crew-to-guests ensures impeccable service as you cruise along the arrow-straight, tree-fringed canals or scenic rivers, passing meadows filled with poppies, glades of poplar trees and sun-drenched vineyards, stopping en route to discover great cities, medieval villages and Renaissance châteaux.
