There is a fabulous array of activities to appeal to explorers, such as hiking or horse riding to the 120-foot Nauyaca Waterfalls, where you can cool off the in the refreshing pool below, or surfing the famed Costa Rican waves. You could also explore the mangroves on a paddle board or kayak, go rappelling down waterfall canyons, take a zip line canopy tour, an ATV tour and much more.

Humpback whales make their seasonal migration through the waters from mid-July to October.
