There have been many favourite moments having worked for Elegant Resorts for a number of years. I have been lucky enough to fly on Concorde which was a childhood ambition of mine and my absolute favourite experience has to be a trip aboard the Venice-Simplon Orient Express.

I have been in travel practically for the whole of my career. I started by working for an independent travel agency and in 1995 I joined Elegant Resorts. I love travelling and sharing my experiences both with family and friends and of course, our clients. Outside of work, my big passion is walking in the Lake District. I have walked all of the 214 peaks (which took 5 years to accomplish) and have walked the 192 mile Coast to Coast Walk which took 12 days.

My Favourite Destination

Italy

Although I have travelled to the Caribbean, Canada, USA and the Far East, my favourite destination is still Europe and in particular Italy. From the cities, to Tuscany, the Lakes and the Amalfi Coast - Italy is so diverse. Combine that with the history, food and wine in my opinion there is nowhere quite like it.

Amanjena

I've been privileged enough to visit so many wonderful hotels and one that sticks in my mind is a visit to Amanjena in Morocco. After a day relaxing around the pool, we had an incredible dinner in the open air dining under the stars. Whilst dining, we were entertained by various performers - it was utterly fabulous.
