Having this private home all to yourself means that there' s always a member of staff around if you need them. The service was faultless. Not only was everyone helpful, but all the members of staff that I met were also super friendly throughout my visit.
I met a lot of the staff, but there were even more working behind the scenes to keep the property looking perfect. The full team consisted of a General Manager, Operations Manager, four butlers, four housekeepers, two laundry attendants, three chefs, a kitchen assistant, four gardeners, four security guards and a boat captain!
The Great House is all about getting to have a relaxing escape, so all the facilities help you unwind whilst soaking in the views.
There's a lovely bar that overlooks the pool and Caribbean Sea, and there's 100 metres of white sand beach to enjoy. But most of my time was either spent in the pool or enjoying the beautiful gardens which had lovely little lily ponds among them.
Across the road were even more activities. These included a large games room, home cinema, spa room, fully equipped gym and even a floodlit US Open style tennis court.
Whilst I didn't travel with my family, bringing them to this island home-from-home is one of the biggest reasons I would return. Its inviting atmosphere sets the tone for an incredible multi-generational escape.
Spread out across the Great House, the Carriage House, the two cottages and Hillaby House, there are twelve spacious suites for up to 30 guests. This means there's enough room for more than your nearest and dearest. Set in such a quiet location, time here is definitely best spent together for a full-on family holiday.
