My room, a Signature Oceanfront haven on the third floor, was everything I could have asked for and more. Spacious and elegantly decorated, it provided the ideal sanctuary after a day of exploration. But my favourite aspect of it was my balcony - a private space with a comfortable daybed and breathtaking sea views. It was the perfect spot for my morning coffee.
For dinner, we ventured to Palm Terrace, a tranquil restaurant where the focus was firmly on the delicious food, and we enjoyed a family-style meal where we could try an incredible array of meat, fish and vegetarian dishes which were gorgeous. Afterwards, I ended up in the newly re-furbished, Taboras Restaurant, which is their casual seaside venue. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, perfect for unwinding with a handcrafted cocktail in hand.
The pool area became another one of my favourite spots. It was the perfect place to soak up the sunshine and the friendly pool staff ensured that we had everything we needed.
