We caught up with her to hear about her Elegant Resorts experience and stay at One&Only Reethi Rah.
What made you choose to book with Elegant Resorts?
RM
I came across the Elegant Resorts account on Instagram and was instantly wowed by the stunning luxury hotels that feature on their feed. I couldn't help but get in touch! I got a quote for a favourite hotel of ours, One&Only Reethi Rah, which turned out to be more competitive than any others I managed to find after lots of looking! With the ever-changing rules and regulations surrounding travel, I also wanted to have the support and security of booking through an itinerary operator.
How did your Luxury Travel Specialist go above and beyond with their service?
RM
Everything the team do is above and beyond what you would expect! The service I received was completely seamless - from my initial enquiry to the call I received to welcome me home. Our original flight was later cancelled, but there was absolutely no need for me to worry, as our Luxury Travel Specialist quickly booked us on to another without any stress, They also took into account the flight times that we preferred, which is so important when travelling with little ones, as well as arranging their kids' meals without prompt.

How was your overall travel experience? Did you feel you could rely on Elegant Resorts if you needed any further assistance?
RM
The team at Elegant Resorts has a way of making sure you always feel at ease. Obviously, travel is not quite as simple as it used to be, but we were sent all the necessary guidelines and up-to-date information well in advance of travelling, along with recommendations and discount codes for PCR tests, and all the relevant documentation we needed to fill in. I was regularly reminded that there was always somebody to talk to should I have any questions and I felt so confident travelling with them. I will definitely do it again.
What would you say to someone who is considering booking with Elegant Resorts?
RM
Do it! I've genuinely never had such an easy or stress-free experience planning a holiday. You just tell them your preferences and they work their magic! Due to their relationship with the resorts, they can also arrange additional touches you simply cannot yourself. For example, they secured the exact room that we wanted so that we could all be together in paradise!
In three words, how would you summarise travelling with Elegant Resorts this year?
RM
I can't choose just three! Seamless. Luxurious. A pleasure. Simple. Amazing. My highlight of the year... Take your pick!
How was your stay at One&Only Reethi Rah?
RM
We had an incredible stay in the Maldives, and we will definitely be returning to One&Only Reethi Rah. The plan was to get away from it all and spend quality time as a family, for which this was the perfect resort. Set on a secluded island and accessed by luxury boat, it felt so safe, spacious and serene, and all the necessary safety measures were in place. The hotel is incredible for both couples and families. My four-year-old daughters adored the kids' club, educational activities and ice-cream hut on the beach, whilst my husband and I snuck off for a spa treatment and well-deserved cocktail (or two). The staff were first-class, the food was incredible, and our villa was just stunning. It was the most relaxing holiday I've ever had - even with the children!
