Just around the corner from the lively St. Lawrence Gap, my recent trip to O2 Beach Club & Spa was unforgettable! It truly embraced the all-inclusive concept. Every night there was some form of entertainment, keeping things lively. The rooftop bar with its own small pool was a gem I loved, and the beachfront restaurant Bluefin was my go-to for lunch.
I loved this hotel, but it was the staff that made it extra special. The General Manager, Chris, was brilliant and always around, chatting with everyone and making us feel right at home. Our waitress at the Element Restaurant, Yvonne, was also fantastic - the food was great but made even better by her top service.
It's not just about what they offer at O2 Beach Club & Spa. Everything has been designed to maximise views and space, making it easy, enjoyable and oh-so-instagrammable. My room felt almost like an apartment thanks to its layout and having its own kitchen, and it was really spacious. The restaurant on the 8th floor was lovely, but the view was the true star of the show here - and the swim-up bar is a major wow moment with a great central location.
This is a gem of a property. I stayed in a Luxury One Bedroom Oceanfront Suite in the 'all ages' area of the resort. It would be great for a family but having it to myself made for a super spacious stay which was a dream. The lounge area of the room was open plan and the complimentary soft beverages in the refrigerator were perfectly refreshing in the Barbados sun! And the balcony was a great place to relax and enjoy the full ocean view.
