Towering above the V&A Waterfront, the city’s historic grain silo has been impressively re-invented to include the luxurious Silo hotel and the new Zeitz Museum of Contemporary Art Africa. Built within the grain elevator portion of the famous grain silo complex and occupying six floors above the new Zeitz MOCAA museum, the 28 rooms, suites and spectacular penthouse have incredible pillowed glass windows and vibrant interiors which cleverly combine the industrial skeleton with Liz Biden’s signature interior style. With views overlooking Table Mountain, Robben Island and distant mountains, the spacious and unique rooms provide decadent spaces from which to admire the Mother City.

Dining at The Silo Hotel revolves around three different dining venues, with casual and contemporary menus for breakfast, lunch, afternoon tea, dinner, bar snacks and Sunday Roast; plus the Willaston Bar provides stunning views of Cape Town through the 5.5m high glass windows. When not quaffing Champagne on the roof, swimming in the glass pool or exploring the city, guests can relax in The Silo Spa enjoying a signature treatment within one of the five treatment rooms. Alternatively, for those feeling active there is a gym, furnished with the latest equipment, a sauna, plus dedicated manicure and pedicure area. Yet another attraction is the exclusive private access for guests to enter the Africa Art museum below.
