Perched on a hilltop, surrounded by the spectacular peaks of the High Atlas Mountains, Kasbah Tamadot boasts a deliciously dramatic mountain setting. The location was spotted during one of Sir Richard Branson’s ballooning expeditions, and now is home to a property that is arguably Morocco’s finest. On arrival, guests are swept through the carved gates to find a lavish hideaway, its lush gardens and richly decorated, antique-bedecked, interiors contrastingly strongly with the rugged backdrops. Spacious and welcoming, the guest rooms exude Moroccan style, with ochre hues, terracotta floor tiles, patterned rugs, carved chests, mosaic ceilings, chunky four-poster beds and cosy fireplaces.
