The company was formed in 2008 by Michelle Pierre-Carr, a former Commonwealth silver medal athlete who has also enjoyed a successful journalism career working for prestigious organisations that include the BBC. With happy childhood memories of golden beaches, breathtaking waterfalls and year round sunshine, Michelle chose the Caribbean for her own stylish wedding; her personal experiences of which, were instrumental in setting up Pierre Carr. She trained with the UK Alliance of Wedding Planners and gained status as a Professional Bridal Consultant with the Association of Bridal Consultants and her specialist knowledge of the Caribbean, has enabled her to form partnerships with many luxury venues.

Aiming to meet the demands of today’s modern bride and groom wishing to have their wedding on a paradise island, the company prides itself on its attention to detail which starts with an initial consultation with a Pierre Carr wedding coordinator to talk through your wish list. Once your dream location has been selected, your individual requirements are then discussed in detail, enabling Pierre Carr to create your personalised step-by-step guide, listing key dates and information about the design and planning process to follow.

Pierre Carr offer a variety of services to meet your needs that range from budget planning, invitations and rehearsal dinners, extending to assisting with choosing the right dress for the tropical climate and those finishing touches on the day such as flowers and transport, as well guiding you through all the legal requirements.
